Notre Dame, Wisconsin will have a Sunday start for 2026 Lambeau Field Game

Green Bay, Wisconsin (AP) – Notre Dame's 2026 football game with Wisconsin on Lambeau Field now has a Sunday kick -off.

The two schools announced on Wednesday that on September 6, 2026 it will compete in a game that is broadcast by NBC, in the house of the NFL -Green Bay Packers. The game in 2026 was previously on September 5 for a Saturday start.

This is part of a two-game series with a neutral site. Notre Dame defeated Wisconsin 41-13 on the Chicago soldier field in 2021.

The Lambeau Field Matchup was supposed to take place in 2020, but this game was scrapped due to the pandemic and postponed for 2026.

This will mark the first time that Wisconsin plays on Lambeau Field since he hit LSU in 2016 with 16: 14. The only other college football game that Field ever took place in Lambeau was a Matchup between St. Norbert and Fordham in 1983.
