Detectives looking for public information, Dash cam video from Fatal Shooting

La narrow, tenn. (WSMV) – The detective of the Sheriff of Rutherford County ask for the help of the public to put together what has led to a fatal shootout over the weekend.

Several law enforcement agencies reacted shortly before 4 p.m. on Sunday to Interstate 24 near the Waldron Road exit. There they found a man in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound, said RCSO.

The victim was treated at the crime scene and brought to a regional hospital where he died of his injuries.

RCSO said another person was recorded at the crime scene, but no criminal charges were submitted at that time.

In front of the shootout, the vehicle reported reportedly along the Waldron Road in La before taking the I-24 ramp.

RCSO said it is believed that the shootout took place at around 3:50 p.m. between the renowned entrance ramp from Waldron Road and the mileabsters 64.8.
