Back 2 The video store is located in the basement of the divine Lorraine and is another thematic pop-up bar from Bucket Listers. (They may remember earlier pop-ups in this room, including the end of a bar with mueslim issues.) But this really nails into a sweet millennial-childhood nostalgia and nails the aesthetics from the Gaudy carpet to the fringe culture input.

Add reach for this photo in an abundance Fresh Prince of Bel Air Throne, life -size Ghostbusters Decor (don't miss you staying near the bathroom in the hallway), a huge VHS with which you can pose. And they all go out with the topics. The blue Jaw The drink is added in a tiny fish arch with a rubber -like shark and a red “blood” in the last minute. Toy Story is crowned with a toy soldier. The Space Jam Shot is actually delivered in a tiny, playable pop-A-shot tire. (You start a chocolate malt ball into your drink.)

And then there are some recipes on the nose: The big Lebowski Is a view of a white Russian, and Happy Gilmore is inspired by an Arnold Palmer. The anachronism is an ultra pink Mean Girls Cocktail with cotton bon candy, but I will let it slide because it is so cute.

If you are hungry, you also have “TV dinner” (pizza rolls and grilled cheese, someone?) And of course snacks like popcorn and sweets. Or come to your brunch menu on Sunday.

Back 2 The video business is in Philly until June 29th. Tickets (approximately $ 20 for the evening, $ 40 for brunch) are required and are available in 90-minute time windows. Each ticket contains a cocktail; The rest of the drinks (and the food) is paid as Sie-You-Go.
