In an oval office meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Trump said “Many people are very concerned” about the white minority group known as Africans.

“They flee to South Africa and it is a very sad thing to see,” said Trump.

However, he also repeated false claims that millions of refugees enter the United States from other countries “completely unvetting”.

“They came from all over the world. In many cases, they are criminals, they come from prisons, they come from psychiatric institutions, they come from street gangs and drug dealers,” he said.

In the past few days, the Trump administration has exhibited Africans, mainly white South African farmers, who have the feeling of being pursued because of their breed. White South Africans have three quarters of private land in the country and control around 60 percent of top corporate management jobs, although only 7 percent of the population make up.

Africans are the descendants of French and Dutch settlers who colonized South Africa centuries ago. They were the architects of apartheid, the racist government system, which prioritized the country's white minority, which officially ended 30 years ago.
