Mark Cuban 'Shark Tank' net assets: investment wins and losses

play

Mark Cuban made profits and setbacks on “Shark Tank” during his time.

After 15 seasons in the HIT ABC Business Reality show, the 66 -year -old Cuban appeared in his last “Shark Tank” episode on May 16 in the final of the 16th season.

The experienced minority owner of Dallas Mavericks, together with his fellow sharks, made some bad bets when he invested in the show, even though he finally said that he had a big win.

Kubaner announced CNBC that during his time on the show he invested “about $ 33 million”, that he received 35 million US dollars at bars and that equity is now worth at least 250 million US dollars.

The businessman has invested in dozens of “Shark Tank” over the years and has committed himself even more on the screen. For the first time, one company had all five sharks – Kubaner, Kevin O'Leary, Dayymond John, Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec. All collected an investment of 1 million US dollars for a share of 30%, which turned out to be a DUD.

In 2013, entrepreneur Charles Michael Yim accused his breathometer as the world's first smartphone alcoholer in the world. Yim even brought champagne to test it. Consciousness the blisters, but the pitch worked.

The party began in January 2017, when the Federal Trade Commission submitted a complaint against Yim and breathometer and claimed that the company had led customers through the product's ability to measure the blood alcohol content closely.

According to an FTC declaration, the breathometer with the FTC was determined with the FTC via this complaint, but had to fully refunded every customer who bought the device (usually for $ 49.99).

“It was a lot of money and I did bad work in the Due diligence,” Cuban told to the USA. “It really wasn't near what I expected.”

According to Nasdaq, Kubaner has also done several impressive shops, including in Tower Paddle Boards, Nuts' N More, Sat Prep Company Prep Expert and skin care company Simple Sugars.

In his farewell, Kubaner lovingly looked back on his time on the show.

“I learned so much of all of you,” said Kubaner to Barbara Corcoran, Greiner, Herjavec, John and O'Leary in his farewell sequence. “And to 'Shark Tank', the people who supported us to the people who love us. I love you, like family.”

Why does Mark Cuban leave 'Shark Tank'?

Cuban cited family as his official reason to leave the show. Cuban and Mrs. Tiffany Stewart share three children: daughters Alexis and Alyssa and son Jake.

“My children are teenagers and I want to spend more time with them,” Cuban told People Magazine in October. In June and September he pointed out the two -week shooting plan for the family of the family. “When they were young, it was like: 'Ok, we'll wait for dad.' Now that they are teenagers, they are not waiting for dad at all, and in September they have just returned to school.
