Galaxy Z Fold 7 practical leak shows a broader design, dimensions

Samsung finally brings some important changes to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 this year, and the first practical leak shows how different it will be.

While the Galaxy Z Fold 6 brought a fold -up redesign in Samsung's book style foldable, it was still behind many of its competitors. This includes how thick and the width of the outer display was. Most other book style folding blades used a display on the outside, which is closer to a normal plate device. This was not the case with Samsung, which generally used very narrow side conditions for the external display.

That is likely to change this time.

It is no secret that Samsung uses a different aspect ratio on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with a much wider external display. A new picture of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (about Notebook check) Shows the back of the foldable with a much wider design compared to fold 6. The cameras also seem to be much larger.

In the meantime, Sammobile Has received CAD files of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and shows exactly how thick the device is. When opening, it measures at 4.54 mm, while it measures 9 mm when it is folded. This is a little thicker than some leaks suggested, but it's still one drastic Improvement of the previous generation. While it is thicker than the Oppo Find N5, the difference is probably negligible. The complete dimensions measure 158.43 x 143.14 x 4.54 mm, contrary to a recently carried out leak, but close to a leak from the beginning of this year.

The same report also contains dimensions for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the flip phone with 166.61 x 75.23 x 6.84 mm when developing. The report also mentions that 6.94 mm thick are “identical” up to flip 6, which indicates that the 6.84 -mm thickness is a typo.
