On May 21, the Chilton Community Hawkins suddenly mourned death with the online support of the community.

Hawkins born and grew up with his wife Lisa in Chilton, loved his community and took care of his community.

Jarret had a passion for Rodeo and Barrel Racing, a legacy that is now being passed on to his daughter.

The high school -loved Jarrett and Lisa ended their end in Chilton ISD in 2006 and then bought their first home together.

But last year in August, an unexpected house fire met her home and was considered a total loss.

While Jarrett was on the mission to restore it, it now remains unfinished.

“It was a long time ago,” said Ms. Lisa Hawkins, “this is our home in which we raised her, that's the first home that we took from high school, and I just have to find out from here.”

Lisa says that she and her family have to heal with their community and everyone reminds them to appreciate those.

“Just make sure that you take care of each other and your family and always say goodbye because you never know … you never know.”
