Woman in a critical state after a fall of hit-and-run when crossing the street in Roy

Roy, Utah (Kutv) – A 77-year-old woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a white sedan.

Accordingly, she ran on a street without marked crosswalks on Wednesday at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, west of the Ogden Airport.

Officials from the Roy Police Department are looking for the suspect they said about met the woman.

The woman was brought to a regional hospital and was stable from Wednesday evening.

A neighbor who lives next to the crash said that the speed limit had just been increased to 30 miles per hour.

According to Kim Varney, the speed crossing in this area was a problem.

Varney said she was surprised that more accidents have not yet happened and that she prays for the victim.
