Jared McCain discusses a hard, injury -lasting season with Sixers

The Rookie by Philadelphia 76ers, Jared McCain, had a fantastic start in the 2024-25 season with an average of 15.3 points, 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds, while he shot 46% of the floor and 38.3% of deep. He scored eight times more than 20 points and scored more than 30 two twice before his season was canceled after 23 games.

McCain suffered a side tear in the meniscus in his left knee and his season was canceled. Together with McCain, the Sixers had to fight by injuries to Joel Embiid, Paul George, Eric Gordon, Tyrese Maxey and a number of others. It was a nightmare season for Philadelphia and that's why it will miss the post -season for the first time in eight years.

McCain sat down with Bleacher Report and gave his thoughts for themselves and the Sixers:

“It's an up-and-down season, it happens, but I always think that they have to go through difficult times so that the sun comes out. It has to rain before the sun comes out,” said McCain optimistic. “I always look at it from a positive prospects and I have the feeling that if we are all healthy, if we are all back, we will be a great team. We just have to get there, we have to build up our chemistry and I think that will come with the next season.”

If this team is healthy in the 2025-26 season, the Sixers in the NBA should take a title. McCain will be a large part of Philadelphia's success in the future as long as this group is healthy-a big “if” you should be able to break back for this team in the 2025-26 season.
