The geopolitical landscape continues to shape priorities of cyber security. “Threats are at a pace that we have never seen before, and the geopolitical situation is such that the world is changing,” said Anne Neuberger, former US -deputy national security consultant for cyber and emerging technologies, who spoke to Tom Field, Senior Vice President of Editorial at ISMG. Now she said it was time for companies to improve their cyber security attitudes when it is escalated to threats.

Browser security has turned out to be a critical focus area with the creation of AI. Michael Novinson, Managing Editor of ISMG Business, quoted Nikesh Arora, CEO of Palo Alto Networks, who warned that browser security will be “larger” size than endpoint security because “in a AI-based world the amount of threats that come from the browser, between 50% and 100%”.

The discussion participants – Anna Delaney, director, productions; Field; Mathew Schwartz, Executive Editor, DataBroachtoday and Europe; Novinson; and Rahul Neel Mani, Vice President, Community Engagement and Editorial – also discussed:

  • How the law enforcement authorities work for innovations for AI technology;
  • The advance for an independent agency for cyber safety review;
