Officials from the Chester district provide warnings after the Street Race Crash – NBC10 Philadelphia

A man from Chester County is charged after a dangerous street race along the Route 202 was caught on the camera film material last month.

The video, which was recorded by the Dash camera of a car, was only preserved from NBC10 and shows two cars that weave through traffic at high speeds before one of the vehicles loses control and hits an innocent driver.

“An innocent person who runs along the street and carries out the speed limit,” said Detective Sgt. Jeff McCloskey from West Whiteeland Police Department.

The person in the car was seriously injured in the crash on April 27, the police said.

According to the police, street racing incidents occur too often. And if the drivers flee out of the scene as they say, the 35-year-old Donald Phillips in this case-they will be suspended.

According to the police, Phillips was the driver of the Red Subaru, who had crashed and was accused, who could bring more than seven years in prison.

The Phillips car was also found with serious damage that matched the crash, the police added.

“We were told that this person has no insurance,” said McCloskey. “And the victim goes through his own insurance company at this time to try to regain everything for his vehicle and his injuries.”

The police used record readers to find Phillips when he drove the local roads and even into the parking garage of his building, said officials.

According to the police, they have also identified the second driver in the race, but have not yet been raised.

Officials said they see an increase in the street race and warn people that they are against the incidents.

“There are video cameras everywhere and we have access to most of them,” said McCloskey. “Where we can bring people back where they live.”

“We won't stop until we find it. We will make sure that we will find the person who caused this victim her injuries,” he added.
