South Windsor, CT – Here are some recent deaths from South Windsor.

Marilyn (Brown) Adamo, 82From Windsor and formerly South Windsor, loved mother, grandmother, colleague and girlfriend, she died peacefully on May 14, 2025. At school she was in softball and field hockey before she started nursing at Brooklyn College (Cuny). She acquired her Associate and started her career in New York hospitals. In the 1970s and 1980s, she devoted herself to the upbringing of her sons. Marilyn pursued her dream of earning a BS in nursing in 1994 and making Magna Cum Laude with an award at Central Connecticut State University. In her work as a school nurse in West Hartford, she found a deep fulfillment and took care of students from the St. Timothy Middle School and the northwestern Catholic high school.

Patrick Burns, 79Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, died after an illness on May 15, 2025. Patrick enjoyed fishing, crossword and above all the guitar, where he was excellent.
