2025 NCAA Super Regionals: 16 must-watch soft ball players

The stage for the 2025 NCAA Softball Super Regionals is set and is full of talent. Some of the best rackets and jugs of the nation in the remaining 16 teams are looking for a shot in the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Oklahoma No. 2 will organize an Alabama team with No. 15 seeds, which wants to spoil the five-gate quest from Sooners with its talented squad. And Florida State No. 5 and Texas Tech No. 12 will rely on Star Power in his matchup.

The top seeds of this year are not the only ones with invited troops. Nebraska has one of the best two-way players in the country, and Liberty runs fresh from his historical regional performance into the weekend.

Here are the must-watch players in every remaining Super-Regional team, from aces to mighty slugers to annoying defenders.

Tallahassee Super Regional

No. 12 Texas Tech at No. 5 Florida State (Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2)

In her first two seasons in Stanford, Canady was primarily known for her dominance in a circle – rightly so. Now, in her first season at Texas Tech, Canady is also excellent behind the plate. It leads the Red Raiders with 10 Home Runs and a .716 -Slugging percentage. The reigning American collegiate player of the year and the top three finalist for this year also has the second best era of the nation (0.92) with 272 strikes.


Isa Torres, Inf, Florida State

Thanks to her 95 goals, Torres leads the seminols with an average of 0.448 strokes in 58 starts – the third most common in the nation. She also made a name for herself as a power hitter with nine Homern and a .656 -Slugging percentage. In defense, she was one of the nation's best shortstops. Torres has a share of 0.963 fields with only seven mistakes and 72 putouts.

Austin Super Regional

No. 11 Clemson in No. 6 Texas (Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2)

Maddie Moore, Inf, Clemson

Moore is in almost every offensive category for the Tiger Top-Two. She has a team high-16 home run and 66 RBIS-A record for Clemson. She takes second place behind Alex Brown with an average of 0.417 and 75 goals. It is also a speedster with a 51 career -stolen bases – the best in Clemson's history.


Reese Atwood, C, Texas

Atwood is once again excellent for the Longhorns in the battery's box. It leads the nation with 84 RBIs after taking 90 RBIs last season. She tries to become the fourth player in the softball history of Division I, who has several seasons with more than 90 RBIs. Atwood played a major role in helping Texas to make it regionally through the Austin. Last weekend she had 13 RBIs and three home runs in three games.

Gainesville Super Regional

Georgia at No. 3 Florida (Friday at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN2)

Taylor Shumaker, Florida

With 21 Home Runs and a 2.817 -Sluggening, Shumaker is the most powerful bat at the Gator of the Gator. It is bound to the second most RBIS (83) and the fifth runs (70) in the nation. According to ESPN Research, Shumaker needs four more RBIs to survive Jocelyn Erickson (86 in 2024) for most of the time in a season in the history of Florida. It is hard to believe that Shumaker is only a newcomer to these numbers.


Jaydyn Goodwin, Inf/Of, Georgia

In 58 starts, Goodwin has defeated all of her previous career height on the offensive. It has an average of 0.344 blow and leads the team with 11 home runs and 62 goals. In the Durham regional finals, Goodwin hit a eighth inning leadoff home to keep the Bulldog's season alive.

Columbia Super Regional

No. 9 UCLA at No. 8 South Carolina (Friday at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN2)

Jordan Woolery, Inf, UCLA

Wooly is in the middle of the best season of her career. She met 22 Homer, 82 RBIs with an average value of 0.423. The selection of the Big Ten All-First team also has a share of 0.513 on-base-die second best brand of Bruins-in 62 starts. Wooly is a dangerous combination with Megan Grant, both of which have a combined RBIs of 161 RBIs this season – most of a UCLA duo in a season in the program history.


Arianna Rodi, Inf, South Carolina

The Gamecocks are fresh from a Columbia regional in which they exceeded the opponents with 16: 2. Rodi is part of why South Carolina is one of the hottest teams in the nation. Her 17 homes are a single season record in South Carolina with 12 go-a-a-a-ahead things. It also leads the program with 53 RBIs in 146 bats.

Norman Super Regional

No. 15 Alabama at No. 2 Oklahoma (Friday at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN2)

Audrey Vandagruff, from Alabama

Vanda ruff has brought Tuscaloosa speed. The newcomer took second place in the nation with 50 stolen bases, and its percentage percentage of .507 leads the team. It also has an average of 0.406 blow with 69 goals and tips from her statistics with six homes.


Sam Landry, RhP, Oklahoma

After the sooners had completed the ASS of last year, Kelly Maxwell, they needed someone who climbed. And Landry, a transfer from Louisiana, did just that. In 160⅔ Innerings she heads the team with an ERA of 2.00 and 165 strikeouts. The newcomer of 2025 also helped Oklahoma for a 22:4 record in a circle.

Knoxville Super Regional

Nebraska at No. 7 Tennessee (Friday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2)

Jordy Bahl, RhP/Utl, Nebraska

The season that Bahl has is incredible. After an ACL injury, she returned to the diamond in 2024. Now she is a top three finalist for the USA Collegiate Player of the Year and was the first player in the same season to be appointed Big Ten player and pitcher of the year in the same season. Behind the plate she broke Nebraskas Homerun record (23) in Nebraska and is fifth in the nation with a cut of 0.472. In a circle, her 1.58 era is good for the ninth best and her 270 strikeouts are the fifth -hedging innerings of work. Bahl joins Canady as one of the best two-way players in the game.


Karlyn Pickens, RhP, Tennessee

The volunteers of Lady voluntary flamethrowers are good for one of the most feared jugs of softball. Pickens did the start of this College Softball season because he had thrown a strike of 78.2 miles per hour -the fastest place in the softball story. She has the nation's best era with 0.90 and takes sixth place with 252 strikeouuts. She has an impressive regionally that shows where she suppresses the hot bats of the state of Ohio, the home leader of the nation. In 9.0 Innerings of work against Buckeyes, she did not give up Homerun and only allowed five goals.

Fayetteeville Super Regional

Ole Miss No. 4 Arkansas (Friday at 8 p.m. et on Espnu)

Lexie Brady, C, Ole Miss

The rebels are in the middle of an outstanding season. You have beaten a program record 63 Homeruns in the Tucson regionally, and it is Brady with a single season record of 16 Homern. It is also solid behind the plate; Brady has a field percentage of 0.987 with only four mistakes and 272 putouts.


Bri Ellis, Inf, Arkansas

What Ellis did in her senior season was remarkable. The Star Razorbacks star has 26 Homeruns and 72 RBIs. The 2025 SEC player of the year has an OPS of 1.787, which is nationally in the first place and the third highest since 2005 (in at least 100 bats) behind the Jen Yee by Georgia Tech (2.002 OPS in 2010) and Jocelyn Alo (1.881 OPS in 2022) according to ESPN research from Oklahoma.

Eugene Super Regional

Liberty at No. 16 Oregon (Friday at 10 p.m. et on Espnu)

Rachel Roupe, freedom

Liberty's historical way to the Super Regionals could not have happened without roupe. In the games 6 and 7 of the Bryan College station Regional, she beat nine RBIs and three homes. And that was nothing new. Roupe is the commander of the Flames criminal offense with a team leading 23 Homer and 73 RBIs. In defense, she has a field percentage of 0.987 with just one error and 72 putouts.


Kai Lushar von Oregon

Lushar is a Speedster who, as a national leader, sits in stolen bases with 58 at 65 attempts. The Leadoff Hitter of the Ducks and the Senior of the Fifth Year have set career height on average (.412) and RBIS (21) in 59 starts.
