Pedestrians injured in the crash of Meadow Street

Ithaca, NY – one person was sent to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon when they were hit by a car in South Meadow Street.

According to a press release from the ITHACA Police Department SGT. Julian Byrd, the officials, reacted to the 700 block of the South Meadow Street in order to achieve a report on a motor vehicle. Both the driver and the pedestrian were still on site when the officials arrived.

Byrd said that the pedestrian was taken to a hospital to treat non -life -threatening injuries. The driver of the car was blamed for the incident and gave tickets at the scene.
