Calling back: Almost 17,000 vehicles in Canada remembered the oil leak, fire risk

Almost 17,000 vehicles were called back in Canada.

“For certain vehicles, the screws for the cylinder head cover could be loosened and caused a oil leak,” said Transport Canada in a message.

“Oil that starts with hot components can create the risk of fire.”

The affected vehicles are the SUVs 2022, 2023 and 2024 Audi Q5.

The state figures stated that 16,863 vehicles in Canada are affected by the recall.

Audi will notify the owners by post and recommend that you bring your SUV to a dealer for an inspection, the message says.

If necessary, the cylinder head cover screws are replaced and dressed.
