Hawks' Dyson Daniels appointed NBA All Defenseive 1st Team

Cleveland's Evan Mobley, the defensive player of the year this season, was also the top voice for the all-defensive team of the NBA, which was announced on Thursday.

Atlantas Dyson Daniels, Luguentz there by Oklahoma City, Draymond Green of Golden State and Amen Thompson from Houston rounded off the first team. Daniels joined Mobley as the only player who appeared in all 100 ballots. Daniels got 91 nods from the first team and nine votes from the second team.

Mobley received 99 votes from the first team from a global committee of 100 writers and transmitters who cover the NBA and hand over ballot papers to determine award winners. He was a second team choice on the lonely other ballot.

Gobert is now an eight-time selection of the all-defensive team.

Shortly before the playoffs started, ballot papers were handed over. The last awards that are to be distributed by the league to recognize outstanding achievements this regular season will take place on Friday when the all-NBA teams are unveiled.
