Warriors fans see Playoffs Game 5 against Rockets in Thrive City – NBC Bay Area

While the Warrior's game 5 of their Playoff series played with the Houston Rockets in Texas, some fans drove from Bay Area to San Francisco to follow the game on the big screen in Thrive City in front of Chase Center.

The Warriors report that almost 2,000 fans have been published for the Free Watch Party in Thrive City.

The fans were disappointed to see how the Warriors lose the game 116-131, as many hoped that the Dubs Houston could make this game. But the fans said the NBC Bay Area that they remain optimistic about game 6 of the series, which are played in the Chase Center in San Francisco on Friday.

The fans of Thrive City brought their garden chairs, pets, signs and warrior equipment. They cheered on every Warriors basket, even when the dubs left the rockets by 31 points at the same time. The head coach of Warriors, Steve Kerr, ultimately had the start of the Warriors set up to rest. The second cord of the Warriors was able to close the gap a little and end the game 16 points behind the Rockets.

In the press conference after the game, Kerr admitted that there were some positive aspects for the warriors in this game, but this was a “decisive loss”.

“Houston was great and they immediately took it to us, and as I said, it's an important finish,” said Kerr.

Roxann Chambers from Oakland took part in the Watch Party with several other members of their exercise group.

Chambers said about the game: “We know that it is difficult today, but we don't give up.”

Octavio Aguilera from Hayward, who was also at the Watch party, said: “I think it was a clever step by Kerr and took the starter so that they can be rested by the next game.”

“We will definitely take it on game 6,” Aguilera continued.

The Warriors are still 3 to 2 in series.
