Former brewer player sued Reds because of the injury to the end of the career

Cincinnati (Wxix) – A former Milwaukee Brewers player sues the Cincinnati -Reds for an injury that he ended.

In it, a former first Baseman of the brewer, sues the red for negligence and negligent attitude and training.

The lawsuit states that Ruf claims that in June 2023 he played for the brewers in the Great American Ball Park when he ran to see a foul ball on the field and beat himself on the Tarp role.

Ruf claims that the Tarp Roller, which was used to cover the field in bad weather and was maintained by the terrain statute, had no protective cushion above the sharp metal.

He says he didn't see it, which led to a permanent knee injury.

The lawsuit accuses the red not to have taken any reasonable precautions and claims that they have violated their duty of care by hiring people who are not qualified.

A spokesman for the Reds says that they cannot submit any active legal disputes if FOX19 has now achieved an explanation.
