Watch veterans graduates with 80 a big dream

Age is only a number when passion and perseverance are leading.

At almost 80 years old, a Vietnam veteran of South Carolina State University took place to claim his diploma.

Linwood Riddick was drafted into the navy before he had the chance to complete his college training. But his dream never died. And after he retired at 72, he went back to school to end what he started.

While he was registered, he immersed in the college experience and even became an active member of the university's concert choir.

At his closing ceremony, the amount broke out when he was applause when he went on the stage to get his diploma for a degree in music industry.

Riddick was welcomed by Alexander Conyers, the President of the SC state, who said to him: “They inspire us all.”

Riddick proves that it is never too late to hunt your dreams, no matter where you are in life.
