Atlanta Officer brought to the hospital after the vehicle crashed

ATLANTA – – A police officer from Atlanta was hospitalized on Thursday after a vehicle accident on the city's southwest side.

What we know:

The officials reacted to the scene directly in front of Interstate 85 of the Metropolitan Parkway SW, where the collision took place.

The official involved was reported that it was vigilant, conscious and breath before being taken to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle was arrested at the crime scene when the authorities began to investigate the crash.
