Daniel Williams was one of the victims of a fatal plane crash in San Diego.

The former drummer of the metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada was killed after a private plane fell into a quarter in San Diego on Thursday morning, his father said to TMZ.

The band, which separated from the musician in 2016, confirmed the death of Williams in an Instagram contribution with several photos of him. “No words. We owe everything to you,” said the caption. “Love yourself forever.”

The Associated Press identified the pilot and owner of the aircraft as music agent Dave Shapiro. A spokesman for the Sound Talent Group, the agency, confirmed the Shapiro Entertainment weekly that the agent and two other STG employees were killed in the crash.

“We are on the ground due to the loss of our co-founder, colleagues and friends,” said the STG spokesman. “Our hearts go to their families and everyone who is affected by today's tragedy. Thank you for respecting your privacy at that time.”

Williams' father, Larry, said TMZ, his son did not have his pilot's license and suggested that the posts were only jokes.
