Driver injured after Omaha Police Chase ends when Highway 75 crashed

Omaha, along. (Wowt) – A police chase ended on Thursday evening with an accident near Highway 75 and the Hamilton Street.

The chase began after the Omaha police replied to a report that a man tried to surpass a woman in a business park north of the city center on Thursday evening.

OPD announced First Alert 6 that the officials reacted to the area of ​​the 14th and California roads around 7.15 p.m.

A civil servant saw a vehicle that matched the reported description, which climbed on the Interstate 480/Highway 75 on ramp, and tried to get the white Nissan Maxima from 2004, said OPD. When the driver did not stop, the official followed the car until he fell near Highway 75 and the Hamilton Street.

The police said the 30-year-old driver fled, but was quickly arrested and taken to the hospital.

No injuries were reported.

OPD said the suspect was instructed in the corrections of Douglas County as soon as he was released by the medical staff.
