The good news: the Pittsburgh pirates avoided writing history. After scoring the MLB record with four or less in 26 games in a row, they finally achieved five runs to avoid the record.

The bad news: You lost 8-5 to the Brewers in PNC Park on Thursday evening.

Christian Yelich met a three-run Homerun against Mike Burrows (0-1), who started his first start to the season.

The pirates (17-38) left the bases invited with no one in the lower edge of the first, but only managed one run on a Joey Bart Double Spielball.
