Heavy storms move through the counties of North Texas

9:38 p.m. Thursday – The National Weather Service in Fort Worth published a severe storm warning for Southwestern Erath County, Eastland County and Comanche County until 10:30 p.m.

From 9:37 p.m. a number of heavy thunderstorms moved to southeast with 40 miles per hour, with storms from Ranger to Rising Star.

8:50 p.m. Thursday -All storms west of Dallas-Fort Worth, according to the National Weather Service, have merged into a single cluster.

The primary threat is strong winds, although isolated heavy hail remains possible in the more intense cores. The cluster is almost south.

For Stephens and Eastland Counties, a new warning at the top of the hour is issued, which emphasizes the potential for wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour and a diameter of up to 1 inch.

7.42 p.m. Thursday – The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has published a serious storm warning for Central Palo Pinto County until 8:45 p.m.

From 7.42 p.m. there was a heavy thunderstorm about Palo Pinto, about 14 miles west of Mineral Wells, and moved south with 10 miles per hour. The storm produces 60 miles per hour per hour and quarter -sized hail that can damage vehicles, roofs, siding and trees.

The areas that are likely to be affected include Palo Pinto, Lake Palo Pinto, Santo, Brazos and a Lone Camp.

6.44 p.m. Thursday – The NWS has published a serious storm warning for the northern Young County until 7:45 p.m.

From 6.44 p.m. there was a heavy storm near Elbert, about 8 miles west of Olney, and moved east with 25 miles per hour.

5:48 p.m. Thursday – The NWS has published a severe storm warning for the southeastern Young County, the Southwestern Jack County and the North Heasters Palo Pinto County. The warning applies until 6.45 p.m. CDT.

From 5:48 p.m. there was a heavy thunderstorm about 8 miles south of Bryson or 10 miles east of Graham, which moved south at 20 miles per hour.

Previously, the NWS said that heavy storms were able to produce large hail and harmful winds throughout North Texas on Thursday in North Texa's.

A severe thunderstorm applies to Grayson, Denton, Wise, Montague, Hunt, Palo Pinto, Eastland, Stephens, Cooke, Denton and Collin in force until 10 p.m.

Thursday is a first watchful weather day for the potential for strong to severe storms in the afternoon and evening hours.

The main threats include large hail 2-inch diameter or larger (chicken egg size) as well as harmful winds of 70 miles per hour or stronger. The tornado and the flood threat are low, but unevenly zero. The time of activity will linger all evening, with the storms lose weight at midnight.

Storms will move to the southeast and will probably remain on Thursday evening west of the DFW Airport. There is a possibility that additional storms develop and move into the metropex.

The temperatures on Saturday and Sunday rise and a lot of moisture will be in the air. As a result, the heat index value feels more like the three -digit digits. A cold front is on the way, but will bring storms.

A first watchful weather day was also issued for the late Sunday evening and the commemoration day.

Expect an active forecast from Sunday afternoon and to the Memorial Day.
