Jussie Smollett pays 50,000 US dollars for charity in the settlement with City of Chicago according to the false report on alleged Streeterville hate crime

Chicago (WLS) – Details of a settlement between the city of Chicago and the actor Jussie Smollett have now been published.

In 2019, the legal department of the city of Chicago submitted the lawsuit after Smollett had complied with an urban period to pay more than $ 130,000 for this supposedly staged attack.

Smollett paid 10,000 US dollars in 2019. He will now pay an additional 50,000 US dollars on “BBF Building Breakt Futures for the Arts, a local organization, the opportunities for the underprivileged youth of Chicago, which offers opportunities for community, health and education”.

“The city believes that this settlement offers a fair, constructive and conclusive solution that enables all parties to close and advance this six -year chapter,” the explanation says.

Smollets lawyer Torri Hamilton published the following explanation:
“Jussie was happy to end this saga by contributing to one thing that he likes to benefit Chicago Youth. He still loves the people in Chicago, but is happy to put this ordeal into his rearview mirror.”
