Pedestrian in hit-and-run on the Brayton Drive killed

Anchorage, Alaska (Ktuu) – The Anchorage police are looking for a driver who met a man in front of the Brayton Drive early Friday morning.

Anchorage police said they reacted to the area of Brayton Drive and the Mockingbird Drive at 12:36 p.m. to report a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.

Anchorage Fire Department Medical declared an adult man dead at the scene.

The police state that two pedestrians went south to the Brayton Drive near the Mockingbird Drive when a vehicle hit the victim to the north on Brayton.

The other pedestrian was unharmed.

The police are looking for the driver when they fled out of the scene. The examination is constantly and according to APD more information is published as soon as you are available.
