Shohei Ohtani/Ippei Mibuhara scandal closer to the series script series

“A year ago, Lionsgate TV announced that it would develop a TV show about the Shohei Ohtani gambling scandal that affects his former interpreter,” said Goldberg. “It is easily one of the largest sports stars in the world. Has it already sold?”

“It sold,” said Beggs. “I can't say who we are still negotiating about the deal. But the swing around him just grew and the patronage are fantastic. It is bananas how big it is.

“If we can announce, we will hardly wait to be able to write with it and really dive – we had a lot of research; everything is wild,” Beggs continued. “Most people don't even know the whole story. And there are probably different opinions about the truth, which is never a bad thing for this type of show. But we are very excited about it, glad that we have landed a partner.”

In December 2023, Ohtani signed a 10-year contract over $ 700 million with the Dodgers. At the time, the Dodgers hired Mibuhara, ohtanis interpreter for the last six seasons with the angels.
