Two arrested in connection with the shooting of the death of teen in Jackson

Jackson, Miss. (Wlbt) -Im connection with the death of a 19-year-old in Jackson, two further arrests were made.

On May 7, the 19 -year -old Zephaniah Thompson was shot in the area of ​​the Holden Street and the Segura Avenue.

Five days later, on May 12, 17-year-old Lecorion Davis was arrested for murder of Thompson and received a bond of $ 1 million. An arrest warrant against murder was then issued for Michael Kelly Jr.

On Friday, the Jackson Police Department announced that Kelly was arrested together with Ty'Misha Trotter (21).

Kelly was taken into custody by Capitol Police on Thursday and shortly afterwards by JPD. He was charged with murder and received no bond.

Trotter was also arrested on Thursday. She was charged with the fact of accessories and received a bond of $ 30,000.

The vehicle used in the crime, a Nissan verse, was also recovered.
