Patrick Healy: I want to start with a premise and a provocation to start our conversation. My premise is the following: last year American voters knew exactly what Donald Trump was capable of as President that Trump told us pretty much what he would do if he was re -elected. It led to an editorial project by My Time's Purchase colleagues entitled “Believe him”, and Trump won a free and fair choice last November.

So my provocation is: America receives the disruptive, destructive presidency that millions of our fellow citizens wanted, and that Trump used them for the first 100 days to comply with a mandate from the multitude of voters in November. In other words, this is a presidency for which more Americans have voted than voted against them.

And Michelle, I will go to you first because you are a columnist based in Brooklyn. Michelle, have you been a president for the past three months who presents a mandate to work?
