A Bellerose man was arrested on Tuesday, May 20th, five months after his 78-year-old neighbor was beaten and killed by his vehicle at the jericho turnpike and 91st Avenue, in the 105th district in Queens village.

The deadly collision occurred shortly after 6.40 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, when Benjamin Jean-Baptiste (39) from the Ontario Road was behind the wheel of a 2010 pickup from Dodge Ram, which drove north in the 91st Avenue.
