MSP soldiers swim to the car that is hidden in Wolf Lake

Egelston Township, me.-A 2-year-old boy died after the vehicle in which he drove fell into Wolf Lake on Thursday evening after 11 p.m.

The State Police in Michigan, one of several agencies that reacted to the scene, published a video of the camera worn out with the soldier.

The video begins with the soldier on the bank at the public boat start. He asks several people where the car is in the water. While the camera turns, you can see a man standing in the water to the waist.

“How deep are you, man? Are you in the car?” The soldier calls out.

The man replies that he is on the car that sits several foot in the water. The soldier and other officers swim to the vehicle. A red torch is visible in the dark water, then the taillights of the car appear.

It becomes clear that the video comes from the final rescue attempt.

“How many more in – here? Three?” The soldier asks. “How many people?”

“No, no,” replies the man.

The video ends with two soldiers who help the man to swim back ashore.

According to the Sheriff's office of the Muskegon County, three people had been in the car when it went into the water. When this recording began, two other people had already been pulled out of the vehicle. One of them, a 2-year-old boy, later died in the hospital.

The investigators say it seems that the crash is due to the fact that the driver is not familiar with the area. Drug and alcohol consumption is not regarded as a factor for the crash.
