Woman for the conviction in the Omaha crash

Omaha, alongside (Wowt) – A woman who was convicted of a terrible crime is now in more difficulties.

Rachel Bickerstaff appeared in front of a judge in Douglas County on Friday afternoon to face a new indictment.

She is waiting for the conviction on June 18 after she has created four charges of Motor-Vehicle murder. The fiery crash shortly after 1 a.m. on September 27, 2024 killed three of her children and 70-year-old Michael Sales of Council Bluffs, who drove the other vehicle in the crash. The sale died at the scene, as did Bickerstaffs 5-year-old and newborn children's daughters. Her 18 -month -old daughter initially survived the crash, but died days later in a hospital in Kansas City.

On Friday, Bickerstäff was charged with a close person's assault. The Douglas County's office announced to First Alert 6 that she attacked her cellmate – a woman who was waiting for two murders on Thursday.

While Bickerstaff refused to talk about it, the victim said that things had become “strange” with her and Bickerstaff since she asked that they were no longer with roommates.

It could be convicted of the attack for up to 20 years – this is over the maximum 200 years with which she was convicted of the crash death. According to the court documents, Bickerstaff's blood alcohol mirror was tested in the hospital after the crash.
