Teen that were killed in the high school graduation of high school say reports, say reports

Lake Charles, La. (KPLC/Gray News)-A 16-year-old girl in Louisiana was killed at a high school graduation ceremony.

Lake Charles' police said the shootout occurred on Tuesday after midnight. The police said that dozens of people between 16 and 22 were in the house who had been rented for the meeting.

The victim was identified as a 16-year-old McKenzie Rideau.

McKenzie was a volleyball player and flag line member with a “bright smile and a friendly heart,” said Dr. Freddie Harrison, Preliminary Head of Lake Charles College, in an explanation.

KPLC spoke to neighbors, who said that the house where the shootout took place was a short-term rent that they believed that they would organize a high school graduation ceremony. They said they heard 30 to 50 shots around midnight.

“It was only worrying because my older mother lives with me here and heard the rebound of the ball.

The police said that investigators continue to interview. Finally, no arrests were made.
