Woman who was identified in hit-and-run crash in South LA-NBC Los Angeles

The identity of a 28-year-old woman was killed by the Los Angeles on Friday.

Detective said that Kelly Calderon died when she was hit with a scooter on April 8 at midnight near the Figueroa Street and the Colden Avenue. The driver is still excellent.

According to the Los Angeles police, Calderon crossed the Figueroa Street when it was hit by the suspect. The vehicle of this suspect is described as a dark sedan, possibly as a KIA Optima or Kia K5.

The police said the vehicle had damage to the right side of the bonnet, the bumper and the passenger door.

The victim was declared dead by the Los Angeles fire brigade.
