Heavy thunderstorms for Colorados ne levels exhibited until 9 p.m.

Denver – isolated tornados are possible on Friday afternoon in Colorado's northeastern levels, as it is expected that heavy thunderstorms will start with great hail and harmful winds.

A heavy thunderstorm for parts of Northeast Colorados was exhibited until 9 p.m. to achieve the possibility of a hail up to apple size, and wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour.

Weather forecasts with the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder wrote “a few tornados”.

The Metro Denver is not included in the clock.

Districts include districts in the heavy thunderstorm clock:

  • Baca
  • Cheyenne
  • Kiowa
  • Kit Carson
  • Lincoln
  • Logan
  • Sedgwick
  • Washington
  • Yuma

The clock extends into parts of Kansas and Nebraska.

“This risk of storms is closer to places such as Akon, Fort Morgan, Sterling and extends to Kansas in Nebraska and then east on the I-70,” said Lisa Hidalgo, chief meteorologist from Denver7. From Friday morning, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder did not issue any storm watches for the counties Denver Metro or Northeasters.

The NWS said the main window for heavy storms in the Far Northeast corner of Colorados was on Friday between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

With a view to the weekend forecast in Denver, you can expect that time spaces will start with cooler weather on Sunday.

“In the early morning on Saturday we will start in the 50s and then have a chance for scattered showers and storms through the afternoon and early evening hours,” said Hidalgo. “We assume that we will see some wet weather and a little closer to storms at Denver.”

The front width on Saturday will be under a marginal (lowest risk) to see a thunderstorm that is able to produce large hail and harmful winds.

The high temperature on Friday in Denver will rise to 85 degrees and fall to 73 degrees on Saturday.

Sunday brings cooler temperatures and showers, whereby Denver only reaches the high 60s.

At the Memorial Day you can expect the afternoon high in Denver to reach 67 degrees with scattered afternoon.

“In the early morning for the bolder boulder we will see cloud covers, but comfortable conditions,” added Hidalgo. “We should be about 60 degrees for the tribute on the Folsom Field by noon.”
