Nationwide trout stocking highlights for May


Many of the lakes and ponds of Idaho will soon be strengthened with Idaho-fish and play storage in May over 390,000 rainbow trout in fishing locations. Are you wondering if the tights will withdraw to your favorite offer?

We asked our Fisch and Game breeding staff to get some of the most remarkable tightrope highlights that come to their local fishing this month.

Fishing according to filled rainbow trout can be a great way to introduce prospective anglers in sport by using simple, inexpensive setups.

Many of these fisheries, which are highlighted below, are easily accessible and family -friendly fishing goals. All you have to do is a fishing license, and young people (under 14) fishing for free. If you need a license, buying a smartphone is easy to fly – and you can start fishing immediately.

Cocolalla -See – 3,300 rainbow trout

This diverse fishing offers anglers the opportunity to catch catfish, bass, perch, crappie and a variety of trout.

Gen -Tag -Teich -800 rainbow trout

This water is also known as Osburn Pond and is regularly filled, so that the fishing rates should be good!

Jewel Lake – 1,620 rainbow trout

A peaceful lake where anglers can catch rainbow trout, canal winds and a lot of bluegill, the young anglers inspire. There is a single fishing dock that helps access in this forested and picturesque rural environment.

Kelso Lake – 5,000 rainbow trout

With simple access to this quiet forested lake you will find good fishing options from a large dock. It is a great place for a small boat, a kayak or a canoe along the Idaho bird watching No. 14, so bring your binoculars with you!

Post Falls Park Pond – 800 rainbow trout

This park offers a great fishing spot for children and anglers with special needs. Anglers can easily fish the small pond from a fishing bridge, a coast or a fishing platform. Take some time to enjoy the adjacent park, natural paths, waterfalls and picnic spaces.

Smith Lake – 600 rainbow trout

North of Boners Ferry, a variety of fishing opportunities are offered here in a peaceful, forested area. There is a campsite nearby and a picnic area for forestry.

Spicer -Teich – 1,600 rainbow trout

This is a small, easily accessible pond next to the St. Maries River near the city of St. Maries.

Steam bootich – 600 rainbow trout

This slightly accessible pond is located next to the North Fork Coeur d'Aleene River. Anglers who may be too difficult will enjoy a few trout from this pond.
