CHICAGO – – According to the police, a 42-year-old man was shot on the south side of Chicago during a dispute on Friday afternoon.

What we know:

The shootout occurred around 4:24 p.m. in the 7000 block of the South women Avenue.

The Chicago police said that the man was disputed with two other men in a shop when the confrontation became physical.

One of the suspects, a 38-year-old man, pulled out a gun and shot the victim several times loud authorities in the chest, head and back in the back.

The man was declared dead at the crime scene. His name has not yet been published.

The 38-year-old suspect suffered a gunshot wound on his left hand. He was taken into custody and brought to Christ Medical Center in good condition, the police said.
