Houston, Texas (KTRK) – The authorities examine after a suspect was killed in a shootout with an officer in Houston's spring department on Friday.

The Houston police confirmed that the incident took place around 4 p.m. in the host Road 2000.

HPD initially announced ABC13 that the officials were looking for a man who had attacked a security guard. Around 5 p.m., the department confirmed that the suspect was dead.

The officials added.
