Further Tierrasanta aircraft sacrifice identified

Two other victims of the small Cessna jet, who plunged into a house in Tierasanta on Thursday, were identified on Friday.

A Federal Aviation officer said at a press conference on Friday that all passengers died in the crash but did not identify anyone.

A spokesman for the Sound Talent Group said that his co -founder and two other employees were killed in the crash.

In addition to Dave Shapiro, the other two victims are Emma Huke and Kendall Fortner.

“The sound talent group still has the pain to lose our friends and colleagues, but with the permission of their loved ones we wanted to share the stories of Dave Shapiro, Emma Huke and Kendall Fortner in order to celebrate their lives and what they meant for us, our customers and the music industry as a whole,” said the company in a statement to KPBs.

Dave Shapiro

The musical agent Dave Shapiro had the Cessna 550 quote and has a pilot license, said the Federal Aviation Administration.

It was not confirmed that he was the pilot at the time of the accident.

Shapiro was a co-founder of the sound talent group with Tim Borror and Matt Andersen in 2018. The agency's roster focuses on alternative bands in pop-punk, metalcore, post-hardcore and other popular hard rock subgenres. Customers included Hanson, Pierce The Veil, Parkway Drive, Sum 41 and Vanessa Carlton.

“Dave's superpower was his ability to recognize new talents, to work with their unique skills and unique sound and to give them the advice and resources to make a living in the music industry. Some of their favorite bands are currently not on their playback lists without Dave,” said the agency in a statement.

He is survived by his wife Julia, sister Jennifer and his dogs Amigo, Juneau and Monster.

Kendall Fortner

Kendall Fortner completed the San Diego State University in 2021 and joined the end of the end. She had participated there during college.

“Kendall was heavily independent and strong in will and illuminated any room that she entered,” said the company.

According to the company, Fortner music loved with the taste of doo-wop from the 1905s to classics from Green Day to Ed Sheeran.

She is survived by her parents, Gary and Kristin, the brothers Justin and Jordan, her women and her nephew Theo.

Emma Huke

Emma Huke switched to a sound talent group last year as a booking employee. In 2022 she completed the University of Oregon.

Huke grew up in Orange County and was an enthusiastic dancer.

“There was nothing that Emma loved more than live music. She worked hard to save money so that she could travel to concerts and festivals,” said the agency in an explanation. “And while she loved all music genres, her favorite artists were to see live, Taylor Swift and the 1975.”

She survived from her parents Tim and Allison and her younger siblings Ellis.

Daniel Williams

Daniel Williams, former drummer of the Metal band The Devil Wears Prada, posted on Wednesday afternoon on his Instagram that he got on the plane with Shapiro. The band posted a homage to Williams on their Instagram page.

“No words. We owe everything to you. Love yourself forever,” wrote the band.

A representative of the band referred to their social contribution when he was asked about Williams' death.
