Hoover, ala. – After an additional day of rest, LSU No. 3 returns to the diamond on Friday to play his first game in the Sec -Tournament in the Hoover Metropolitan stage against No. 14 in Texas A & M (6:30 p.m., Sec Network).

The LSU earned No. 3 seeds and the right to only play on Friday after it ended its conference plan with a record of 19: 11 and four series in the last five weeks of the year.

The LSU won two out of three games in South Carolina last weekend to win her place in the Sec tournament.

The aggies enter the Matchup, which needs another victory to keep their slim NCAA tournament opportunities alive. They defeated the Mississippi State 9-0 on Wednesday before they were 3-2 3-2 on Thursday.

LSU and Texas A&M also stood for a series with three games three weeks ago. The Aggies got the best of LSU with two victories at home against the tigers.
