Another METS player was removed with an injury after rain delay

New York – Another MES player was removed from the game on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The left -wing field player Brandon Nimmo did not return after a rain delay of 98 minutes. The Mets announced that GEIMMO was “removed with a stiff neck”.

GEIMMO played in the first two mastings of the Mets and even played an impressive game to get the Dodgers catcher Will Smith out in the second inning. Smith met a deep fly ball on the left field, which drove 363 feet and, according to Baseball Savant, would be in four baseball pieces.

Instead, take it, jumped, jumped and put it out and slammed into the wall before he threw the ball back in.

Gemo returned to play the field before the rain delay in the third inning. It is unclear what his neck prompted.

GEIMMO has been struggling lately. Including an outline in the second inning against the Dodgers, he is 0 for his last 17.

The veteran of the Mets fought for most of the last two seasons through injuries. He had a late start in spring training because of a knee injury and fought for the last post -season with plantar fasciitis.

At the beginning of this month “avoiding a ball” while chasing a ball in the outer field. A repetition showed that his tunnels on the lawn against the Arizona Diamondbacks got stuck at Chase Field. His knees exceeded for a fraction of a second before his feet finally locked.

After Gamo had called up the ball, he threw it in to prevent a run of hits visible, but was visibly in pain and limp back to the grass, where the midfielder Tyrone Taylor waved to the trainers.

Termo then returned to play. Hopefully he will be back in the METS line -up on Saturday.
