The sheriff department replaces dying files

Marquette, me. (WZMQ) – In 2022 Marquette County commissioned all pathology services to a Saginaw Forensics Lab, which was made by Dr. David Stockman operated private pathology laboratory, the Michigan Institute of Forensic Science and Medicine. After months to no communication with MiFSM and considerable delays in the preservation of promised pathological spokes, such as death certificates and autopsy. District officers were frustrated.

“What it does is not to have this reports, it is a chain reaction of things that become bad, from the law enforcement authorities to district writers to families to the statistics, it only creates a big problem for us,” said Larson.

And so with an increasing deficit of the past reports and an incessant parade of excuses under Sheriff Larson together with the chairman of the Marquette County Board, Joe Derocha, the matter took the matter and drove the 16-hour

“If we go down there, we wanted to remove every apology. When they are finished, they will finish; we will pick them up. There are no excuses,” said Larson.

After a few canceled appointments, which with Dr. Stockman, who never met with Larson and Derocha, were finally able to meet the couple with their employees, who turned some of the requested medical reports.

“We returned with 18 autop appeals that had toxicological inclusion. We also returned with three cases of three separate cases in which evidence was for them,” said Larson.

With 11 still outstanding cases, Undersheriff Larson is hopeful. Mifsm provides them immediately. 19 News has several times to Dr. Stockman turned and no answer.
