play

The Atlanta Braves -outfield Ronald Acuña Jr. would not have written his return better.

Acuña, who received the 2023 NL MVP Award after he was the first player to record at least 40 Homeruns and 70 stolen bases in one season, suffered a front cruciate ligament (ACL) at the end of the end of the year on May 26, 2024.

The Matchup on Friday between the Braves and the San Diego Padres was the first game of Acuña for almost a year. Acuña led to the Braves in the bottom of the first inner and went on the first field of Padres Pitcher Nick Pivetta.

Acuña dropped his bat and took a side of Memphis Grizzlies Star yes Morant's book. Acuña celebrated Morant's grenades, threw an imaginary grenade and covered his ears when the amount broke out when applause broke out.

Acuñas 467-footed home marked the only run of the good. They finally lost 2-1 against the Padres and fell to 24: 26 in the season.

At the beginning of this month, Acuña made headlines after making a controversial social media post in which he accused Atlanta Braves Manager Brian Snitker to have a double morality. Acuña criticized Snitker in a viral contribution on April 19, when he did not release a good -brave outfield Jarred Kelenic because he hadn't turned after he hadn't left a ball and was marked in second place. “If I were, they would take me out of the game,” wrote Acuña.

He deleted the post and apologized to Snitker and his team, admitting that he was frustrated to be away from the team while working back from an injury.

“I was only frustrated by my situation in the sense that I was able to return to the team,” said Acuña. “I have a second serious injury. I am away from my teammates in Florida. These were the team. These were the things that frustrate me … … I want to be here (in Atlanta). My entire career. I saw how the team and my teammates are going through and are unable to help and unable to be with them where the frustration came from.”
