Franklin County Motorcycle Crash kills Washington teenager

A 16-year-old boy from Washington, Missouri, was killed on April 26, 2025 in a motorcycle accident on the Pottery Road at the McMahon Automotive Drive in Franklin County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 11:47 a.m. 1983. Honda CX650 was south and went too quickly through a right curve. The motorcycle lay on the side and slipped into the front of a Chevrolet Silverado north to the north.

The teen driver of the Honda was wearing a helmet, but was declared dead at the Washington Ems Personal scene

The driver of Chevrolet Silverado, a 59-year-old man from Washington, Missouri, wore a seat belt and was not injured.

Both vehicles were towed out of the scene by Patriot Towing.
