1 hospital after multi-car crash on the I-40 near the North Hollywood Street

Memphis, tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis police authority reported a crash with several cars that took place on Friday evening.

On Friday at 6:41 p.m., MPD replied to a hit and run crash on the I-40 and the N Hollywood St.

A driver in a Ford F-1550 told the officials that he was on the I-40 in the left lane to the east.

He advised that a Pontiac G6 also drove east at high speed and stood into traffic and out of circulation in all three lanes.

The driver in the Ford said that the Pontiac hit the right rear passenger side of his vehicle while he swung out of the middle lane on the left.

He said the impact forced him to hit the left emergency penalty on the street and jump back on the traffic in the Center Lane, where he was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado that drove in the same direction.

The Silverado was forced from the road to the right after the impact and after the forested dam.

Together with two passengers in the Silverado, the driver was able to leave the vehicle safely after the crash.

The Pontiac continued with a high speed rate at a high speed with the i-40 e and got out at the throat output.

Two units from the Memphis fire brigade arrived at the crime scene to evaluate injuries while Tdot made the scene for traffic control.

The Ford F-150 driver received a traffic quote and was commissioned for improper state registration and financial responsibility.

The Silverado driver was issued a traffic quote and charged without a state driver's license.

None of the parties involved could call up any day information from the Pontiac G6 or a description of the driver.
