The man struck and killed with a box of truck in the Caliente Road near the Oak Hill Road in Hesperia

Hesperia, California (vvng.com) – A man was hit and killed on Friday evening on Friday evening along Caliente Road, south of the Oak Hill Road and next to the southern side of Interstate 15 in Hesperia.

The incident was first reported at 6:22 p.m. on May 23, 2025. Rescue workers from the California Highway Patrol, the Sheriff department of San Bernardino County, and shortly afterwards the fire brigade arrived.

A white boxing truck from “Champions Express Inc.”, a freight company based in Fontana, was parked on the shield shoulder along the Caliente Road as a civil servant. A male pedestrian was passed behind the truck.

Gloria Orejel, public information officer of the Sheriff department of the San Bernardino County, said: “For the time being, a male adult was accidentally hit by a truck. Our mait conducts the examination and additional information is published when it is available.”

Officials did not immediately confirm whether the man had been on foot, a passenger or the driver of the truck.

Another person was found who was sitting in the front passenger seat and questioned at the scene of the crime, including an alcohol -soberness test. The driver's identity has not yet been confirmed.

The Coroner office of the San Bernardino County reacted to the scene. No further information was published by Friday evening.
