The man surrounds the MP Caddo after she allegedly admitted to killed mother

Shreveport, La. (KSLA) – One person is dead after a fault was reported on Friday afternoon.

At 2:11 p.m. MPs of the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office were sent to double a trip after a person named 911, and reported: “My brother killed my mother!”

According to officials, 19-year-old Connor Lyons waited on the back of the house when the MPs arrived there. They tied up lyons with handcuffs and advised him over his Miranda rights. Lyons then told the MPs that he heard voices and stabbed his mother. He said he stabbed her three times with a knife on the right side of her neck while she was asleep.

The deputies cleared the house for the safety of the officer and found 55-year-old Lara Lyons in her bed.

Conner Lyons was charged with the second degree murder and transferred to the Caddo Correctional Center and booked.
