“Anyone who sensibly has information that can provide evidence in this case will be discontinued,” said Freedman.

In response to this, a spokeswoman for Swift said in a statement on “Good Morning America” at the time that “Taylor Swift was never placed on the set of this film. She was not involved in casting or creative decisions. She did not achieve the film.

The spokesman added: “The connection that Taylor had to this film allowed the use of a song 'My Tears Ricochet'.”

“In view of the fact that your participation was to licens a song for the film that 19 other artists have also done, this document load is designed in such a way that you use the name Taylor Swift to arouse the public interest by creating boulevard clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the fall,” the speaker added.

Lively and Baldoni have been involved in a heated right -wing feud since December 2024 when Lively submitted a complaint against Baldoni to the California Civil Rights Department for the first time and accused him of having a sexual harassment on the film's set, which he also directed.

Baldoni denied the allegations by a statement by Freedman, who described Lively's actions as “shameful” as “serious and categorically false allegations” against Baldoni. He added that it was “another desperate attempt to fix their negative reputation, which was obtained from her own comments and actions during the campaign”.

Lively, represented by lawyer Michael Gottlieb, and Baldoni, represented by lawyer Bryan Freedman, then started duel lawsuits against each other.

Baldoni's lawsuit against LIVELY Detailed a text message that he allegedly received from LIVELY, in which Baldoni claimed that she had described herself on Swift and her husband Ryan Reynolds as “dragon”. According to his complaint, it is argued that their relationship with top -class people such as Swift and Reynolds used their relationship to have their influence on the film.

Lively, Ryan Reynolds, is also being sued by Baldoni. LIVELY's lawyers described Baldoni's lawsuit “Another chapter in the perpetrator game book” and accused Baldoni, “to have tried to shift the story to Ms. Lively by wrongly claiming that she had captivated creative control and alienated Mr. Baldoni”.

The actors will be released on March 9, 2026 in front of the US district court for the southern district of New York. Judge Lewis Liman monitors the case.

Before her appointment, Lively submitted a changed version of her lawsuit against Baldoni in February.
