Scandal! Star Nolwazi NGubeni granted a deposit in the event

NGubeni is expected to appear again on September 26th after her case has been postponed for further investigations.

The actress and casting director Nolwazi NGubeni was granted in a deposit of R5,000 in the Brixton Magistrat's Court in Johannesburg.

In her engagements, NGubeni will be accused of financial misconduct in March 2024 of the financial misconduct in Durban Rhythm Rhythm World Productions, which is based in Joburg Masakhan Casting Agency and Make Your Art (Pty) LTD.

NGubeni is exposed to several fees

It is charged with cyber forgery, fraud, theft and utterance – which is to illegally and deliberately hand over a fake document to actually or possibly affect another party.

The Gauteng spokesman for the National Public Prosecutor's Office (NPA), Phindi Mjonondwane, said that the state claimed that the defendant was hired by rhythm as casting director and recruited people to appear in various productions.

“She kept money to herself”

“However, when Rhythm World paid her for the services, she allegedly kept the money for herself,” said Mjondwana.

“The NPA is obliged to ensure that justice is served and will provide updates in the course of the case,” she added.

The Scandal! The actress's case was postponed for further investigations to September 26.

Her appearance earlier will follow her first appearance on March 26th in the Court of Johannesburg.

Theft allegations

According to reports, the actress is accused Queen Modjadji as a casting director.

Supporting actors who were occupied in the Mzansi Magic Show, which was produced by rhythm world, supposedly complained not to be paid, while NGubeni supposedly paid off.

It is claimed that the production company initiated legal steps after the attempt by their right team to negotiate a repayment contract.

The South African film and television actress is said to have innocence.
