Teen dies in a car accident in Springfield Township

Summit County, Ohio (Woio) -The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) examines a fatal one-car crash, in which an 18-year-old woman was killed in the early Saturday morning.

According to an OSHP release, a Volkswagen Jetta 2016 drove south on the Massillon Road Road on the Massillon Road DRIVE when it went off the right street and hit a guardrail and a power supply rod.

The car lifted after the release and stopped directly on the street.

The driver was brought to the Summa Health Oklone City Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

18-year-old Isabelle Grubaugh from Akron died of the consequences of her injuries from the crash.

Oshp said that drugs and alcohol seem to be a factor for the crash, and neither driver nor the passenger wore their seat belt at the time of the crash.

The police and the fire brigade of Springfield Township and fire brigade reacted to the scene together with First Energy, Miller's Town and the Ministry of Transport from Ohio.

The crash is examined.
